Jim Kidwell Construction Corporation was established in 1965 and for the past 39 years Jim Kidwell Construction Corporation has been locally owned and operated by Jim Kidwell. The company began operations in Independence, Missouri and moved its headquarters to Greenwood, Missouri in 1986. The company began excavation and grading for residential subdivision, primarily cutting streets and digging basements. In the early 1970's Jim Kidwell Construction Corporation switched to commercial building excavation and grading. Over the past 39 years Jim Kidwell Construction has grown into a multi-million dollar corporation making a name for itself by providing quality equipment, personnel and commitment to all its projects.

     Of thousands of small and large projects alike, some low profile and some very high profile, Jim Kidwell is the driving force behind Jim Kidwell Construction’s success. His motto "Take Pride in your Stride" shows in the quality of work, pride in operating and maintaining the equipment, and the professionalism of the employees.

     Each project is unique and is expertly supervised by experienced personnel. Our operators are all member of Local 101, our laborers are members of 1290, and our drivers are members of Local 541. Scheduling and communication is a vital key to our success. On site, air-conditioned and radio controlled equipment allows our employees to work more efficiently to provide progress and interaction with each other.
